Phenylalanine screening is a blood test for people living with phenylketonuria (PKU). The test detects levels of an amino acid called phenylalanine (Phe) in your blood.
The Egoo Phe Test provide a quantitative analysis of the Phe level in your body within 30 minutes. Apply a sample to the capsule, insert the capsule into the Egoo P300, and receive the results on the Egoo Connect app.
The Egoo P300 is specifically designed for the PKU community, solely with the purpose of self-testing Phe levels. Analyze your Phe levels from two drops of blood, receive results on your smartphone and share it with your physician.
OBS. You can not use the test result for intervention.
As this is a research initiative with the intent to CE-IVD mark the Egoo Phe test on the Egoo Analyzer. Before the CE-IVD mark is achieved, you can only use the Egoo Phe results as a supplement. You must continue your regular PKU treatment in collaboration with your designated PKU physician.
