RESPONSIBLE FOR ASSAY DEVELOPMENT ON THE EGOO HOME MONITORING PLATFORM

Qlife is a high-tech medical device company that seeks to revolutionize clinical biomarker testing of whole

blood by taking it out of the lab and into the homes of the people who need it the most. The Egoo Home 

System is an integrated platform consisting of a small home device and disposable capsules, each of which tests for a specific biomarker. It provides a digital infrastructure for sharing data with the patient’s doctor, clinic or hospital via a smartphone or computer.

 

YOUR ROLE

We are seeking to hire an assay biochemist who will be the lead for 1-2 of the Qlife assay development projects. You will be responsible for developing the assays, along with integrating them with the Egoo

home monitoring platform. Our expectation is that you are very familiar with assay keywords such as:

sensitivity, specificity, reproducibility, stability, verification, validation, design history file. Your duties will

also include working in accordance with our Quality Management System as part of our team, where

everyone strives to deliver our high-quality, in-demand products to the market.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Role of lead for 1 -2 Egoo assay development projects

  • Conduct and report on assay development, with adherence to the EU guidelines for assay         development traceability and lab safety

  • Perform, document and review assay procedures & specifications for both new and existing Egoo         assay capsules on the Egoo home monitoring platform

  • Work according to the Qlife ISO 13485:2016 quality system

  • R&D: Preparation (executing and recording) of materials (such as buffers, reagents, controls)               for development and verification of Egoo products, following BSD procedures for traceability               and lab safety

  • Production: Role of operator/reviewer for Biochemistry production (including production and QC)         for Qlife proprietary IVD products

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a highly skilled and dedicated biochemist who enjoys challenges and thrives in a busy, dynamic

work environment. You have already acquired several years of work experience. You can handle multiple

tasks simultaneously, while consistently delivering high-quality results. You work well both independently

and as part of a team. You can follow guidelines from R&D scientists and implement protocols without

supervision or assistance.

 

 

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering or Chemistry.

  • Experience with standard laboratory techniques and immunoturbidimetry

  • Knowledge of ISO 13485:2016 (in the context of development and production), desired

  • Knowledge of IVD, desired

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written), necessary

  • Fluent in Danish, desired

  • Solid computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel in particular)

  • Work experience in a team-oriented environment
