ALAT
TEST
ALANINE AMINOTRANSFERASE
The ALAT test is a blood test that checks for liver damage or disease.

ALAT stands for Alanine aminotransferase and the ALAT capsule serves as a biomarker test for liver status.
Your liver performs many important tasks for you, the most important of which is cleansing your blood.

A low level of ALAT in the blood is expected and is normal.

Liver disease is the most common reason for higher than normal levels of ALAT.
